Search is on the Library home page, which is the default starting page each time you visit My Vision Australia account page after you sign in. On this page, you can search the Library catalogue by entering the words you want to search for into the simple Search edit box and pressing the Enter key or activating the Search button.

Getting started

Vision Australia’s online Library catalogue is available from the i-access Library tab and allows Library members to search, download or request accessible information from the Library. This site works best on these browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge and Safari.

The i-access Library tab is divided into eight main sections accessed through the sub menu links on the left hand side of the page:

  • LIBRARY HOME – The Home page is the default landing page where it allows you to search the catalogue and provides you with navigation guides.
  • SEARCH – the Search page is where you can search the catalogue and in Advanced Search, browse particular types of content or titles that are available from Vision Australia.
  • MY LIBRARY – the My Library page is where you can view and manage your bookshelf for titles you currently have on loan, access to Request List where you have titles requested or saved to read later, and access to Subscriptions where you can manage your periodical subscriptions.
  • MY HISTORY – the My History page is where you can view all the books/music braille titles you have previously loaned.
  • MY PREFERENCES – The My Preferences page is where you can select from a range of options to help make searching and receiving Library content easier
  • LIBRARY HELP – the Library Help page contains a user guide with all the information you need to know about using the online library catalogue.
  • CONTACT LIBRARY – the Contact Library page contains information about contacting the Library.
  • LIBRARY TERMS AND CONDITIONS – this page contains a link to the most recent terms and conditions of the Vision Australia library service.
